RPG amv contest

I was thinking about putting together a contest for my friends site, RPG Eternal.

It would mostly be the same as other amv contests, except that your footage would have to come from an RPG. The prize would be a greatest hits game or something of similar value.

However, before i spend the time to put everything together, I would like to know how many people would actually be interested in entering.

Also, any suggestions for categories (beyond the basic drama, comedy, etc) or anything else about the contest are appreciated.

Wed love to have you enter. The admin of RPGE did say something about having a rule about how early vids can have premeired but that should prolly be fine, and nothing is set yet.

If you guys did this I'd try and get something in, most likely fail horribly but I'd get something in.

Just a little update.

Castor Troy: I talked to the RPGE Admin, and he said that teh vids would most likely have to be mostly RPG footage so yours probably would not qualify.

Also, there is now a chance that the prize could be entrance into next years E3 convention. We are not sure about whether this would work, but the possibility is there as RPGE has status as gaming press and can gain entrance. Unfortunately, if this happens, it will most likely not happen till next year, but hopefully the possibility will get more ppl to join.

Not too late at all. This topic was just to see if there is enough interest to actually have it. I will prolly get the rules and everything set in the near future.
