Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

That's a nice new rule. No more off-site links and torrents.
I can't wait for a Local download of AniMix to appear at some point.

Way to compress the audio, OtakuForLife.
98mb of the file is uncompressed audio which you could have easily reduced to 10mb or so by using mp3 compression.
You were given large upload permission because of the length of the project not so you could waste our disc space with unnecessarily large files.

I could probably fix up the quality a lot and fix the compression for the audio. Just don't want to go on AIM and have it upload at like 20kb a sec to get the whole original project file. Well if OFL has a good suggestion, or anyone else to get the video sent to me, I'd like to hear one. Or maybe some other person could do so... just somebody out there fix up the quality. I noticed a lot of quality issues in the video that are easy to fix.AbsoluteDestiny wrote:Way to compress the audio, OtakuForLife.

Have you even *tried* compressing the audio. Read my guide (see link in sig) for instructions. Don't compress it in premiere or whatever - those programs dont have any decent compression options.OtakuForLife wrote:Sorry me too dumb the file is like 5 gig and the audio sounds like crap otherwise.
No. How about you save us the bandwidth used every time this video is downloaded by compressing the audio and hence reducing the file by 80mb.OtakuForLife wrote:Just dump 5 or so of my older videos on local I got like 30.
