Transparent Question
I cut out an image in photoshop and left the background transparent. But when I go to save it and upload it into premiere it has a whitebackground. I want to just have the image itself layered onto another track, and no white background with it. How can I do this?

Make sure you saved the image with transparency data on it.
When you have an alpha channel, you should see the background checkered in default. Do you see it like this?
Depending on different image formats, some can, and some can't store the transparency information.
I usually import the PSD file, as I find it the easiest and best way to switch back and forth from Premiere and Photoshop.

Since I use The GIMP which doesn't save .psd files (at least, I don't THINK it does...hrm...never tried), I usually save my files as TARGA (.tga) files. They preserve transparency. But a .psd file should work fine with Premiere.
Life's short.
