Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Taijitsu for Dummies up and ready for download

Post by BasharOfTheAges » Sat Mar 26, 2005 12:25 am

My latest AMV, Taijitsu For dummies is, as of about 20 minutes ago, available for download and can be found here.

Though most of the info is on the video profile already, i'll give some details to entice.

Okay, it is a Naruto video and it's "Kungfu Fighting" (though an original mix i personally made), but please give it a shot.

The concept behind the video is Rock Lee's attempt to cash in on the For dummies book craze... It looks a lot better than it sounds, trust me.

This video will, to my knowledge, play today at Anizona and at Tekkoshocon in a few weeks. Unfortunately it was deemed unworthy to play at Anime boston in the main competition.

Opinions are always welcome.

Thanks, and have fun with this one... it took over 55 hours to complete :)

I didn't like the first half of the video much at all (I thought it was a little slow paced and not very entertaining), but I dug the second half of the video, especially the books flying out of Lee's eyes. Also, the end of the video came on rather suddenly. It just kind of ended out of nowhere.

Sorry for the double post, but i was wondering if anyone who attended Anizona saw this video. I couldn't get confermation if it was even in the contest (which would make me seem like a complete ass since i listed it in the video's credits on the download page as participating). If anyone knows if it was shown, let me know. If you/others seemed to enjoy it or hate it let me know too.

Thanks :)
