The originality problem is often heavily discussed in the org, and analizing how many Naruto videos I made I felt strange during the work of another one and I still feel like this, but I also thought about some people said, that I think as really true, and of course every video I made have a totally different concept and always a different way of edit, and every video I made is a video where I improved a little on something, so even if I personally hae this feelings during the work of my last work (still in making of), my general points on originality are pretty high^^ Sometimes I would really change anime, but I can't buy online because of my age (16 :/), and with all this I liver in a place without shops and withot a speedy connection. So I should even feel lucky with what I have now, but luckily thanks to my girlfriend I'm getting new footage as I will get soon the anime of Hellsing, so maybe I'll be able to work on new footage soon! Anyway on to o fall, I don't want to make mad someone or to irritate abyone with posts like this, omg this is a forum and I use this possibility to discuss some argoments^^ It should not be a problem!!

Anyway thanks to all for your answers^^ I really appreciated all of them and I find me quoting completely the thoughts of genestarwind21122 and of Arigatomina that I want to completely quote here because I quote him completely and is actually the mirror of my thinkings

Arigatomina wrote:Not necessarily. It's a very long anime, with a lot of characters who are given extensive footage to work with. The number of different takes or stories a single editor can do with that anime is unlimited. Now, if it's 12 Naruto vids focused on Naruto (only him), then it might be harder to find a new spin. But there's still a wide variety of footage *just* for him, too much to fit into a single normal-length video.requiett wrote:You gotta have some serious dementia coming on here and complaining about lack of originality after making TWELVE Naruto videos.
/so says the YYH enthusiast
I've never had this problem myself. I make vids that I want to see, that no one else will make for me (or that I can't find). It doesn't matter how many takes I do on a single concept - if no one else is doing anything at all similar, then every single one of those takes will be original. There are a lot of YYH vids, but I've done over 20 that are entirely original within the collective. I could do 20 more to that same anime, and I still won't find another editor with anything similar to my videos. It's not the anime that makes something unoriginal, unless every single video concept for that anime has already been done.

If you get bored watching your vid, or if you feel like it's unoriginal, then it's because you've tapped yourself out on that source. Maybe you've already used all of your favorite scenes, or have seen similar concepts in other videos and don't feel interested in doing your own take on those concepts. If you're bored by the video before it's even finished, then that's the perfect reason not to make it.
If you're feeling down because other people *tell* you it's boring and unoriginal, then you're not making vids for yourself. In that case, do what your viewers tell you to and quit. I'd recommend taking a poll or watching the faves lists so you don't waste your time on things your viewers aren't interested in. I'd also recommend charging them to watch your vids - if you're working for them, you should get paid for the work.
