having read the comments for the vid i'm not gonna d/l it, mainly as you have several things a bit messed up:
1) Only well known/exceptional creators get noticed, you are neither, just like me.
2) LinkinBall Z vid do NOT 'reign supreme' it just so happens that crap loads of n00bs, like yourself, make them, thus making the combination the most used on the site, however, as anyone will tell you if they've been here for more than about a month: 99.999% of the suck so badly it's unreal.
3) This vid, when the comments are taken into account, is not going to get any good attention, and all this will do is get you put on some peoples "ignore" list...once again like me.

Well unlike Zaphod I actualy downloaded your video, on the off chance it would turn out somewhat good...which it wasn't. You had no sync with the music, no plot, and the video had nothting to do with the lyrics. In the future I sugest you work on these 3 things as they are the basis for almost all music videos. I can only assume that you think your vids are good because your comparing them to other crappy vids, so to clear up that descrepency.

There. Those are good videos. Those are the types of videos people notice. Download them, watch them, study them, and when you make a vid thats even 1/10th that quality come back and try again.

don't worry about it
i started off the exact same way
thought my video didn't suck but then i saw the videos they made here on the org and well... i concluded mine sucks.
so until i make a good AMV im never gonna upload anything here
i suggest you do the same,
make your way through the guides, learn to use the software you use until you are truly satisfied with your knowledge and always ask people to watch your vid and tell you what they think before you finish it and definatly before you upload it

I downloaded your video...
The first problem with your video is your attitude...
You are unnoticed because you choose to be unnoticed. If you want to be noticed, make friends by opinion exchanges, and show respect to the anime your using in your work. Do not make your videos to please everyone, just make them to please yourself.
Onto your video...
I have to go with what 2 2 5 said. It was just a bunch of bad quality clips with no reason. There was no mood, or emotion set to the song. You used a bunch of overlays with cropped/uncropped footage with made the video look even worse. Next time, try to use a dvd for your footage, the quality is 100 times better, and people will more likely download a video with dvd footage than random kazaa downloads cause it shows that you know something about what your making.
Your also using DragonBall Z, and Linkin Park. That will definetly get you nowhere. Many people on this site dont care for Linkin Park videos, and they definetly dont care about them if they are set to DragonBall Z. Although DBZ is my favorite anime, try using something else. I guarantee you'll be noticed.
Thats all I have to say for now. Till next time...

It wasn't that bad, a lot better than many videos I've seen out of random searches on the search engine, or through the new video page. It did however suck in a sense. Too much time not sycnhing, and too much time showing off effects when you don't know how to use them to add to the mood. since sitting through this troublesome AMV wasn't too hard, I wont grade it too harshly, I'll give around 2-3 since it was in a sense somewhat tolerable.

this just has 'angry' and 'bitter' written all over it
i think you're 1st mistake was caring whether or not you get 'noticed' in the community, it won't make you a better person, if you practice and get genuinely better with time, then i'm sure praise is what you'll get
2nd mistake was conforming to make a video using anime/music that's popular instead of anime/music you like and goes well together, making a video the way everyone is making it will automatically take away ALL the heart ur video could have had. it ends up coming off as cold cause ur saying
'i made something different, but this is what you like, now watch it you filth'
...a bit exaggerated i'm sure
but that's the general thought i'm assuming with most people that read the vid info
As for the video
everything's been said, although the clips weren't completely random, there was a LOT of random clips thrown in, i guess you could have kept with the trunks theme you had going, but you only had it going cause you showed a lot of clips of him... how much the SONG related to him? i don't know, i saw some parts that could have referenced his relationship with vegeta
'I wanna be pushed aside'.... but then again, Trunks wanted the opposite of that
most of the Vegeta clips were indeed random
*Cell getting blasted with Vegeta's Final Flash had good timing i thought... but utterly pointless in the video i thought as it just confused me
my advice, find a song you like and then make sure you know what the song is about and then if you're gonna make a vid to it, try to plan it out in sections and have a mental idea of wat it'll be like and i think that'll lead you on a good track

Which I think is important. I think he was poking fun at the majority of videos being "noticed" because of traits aside from the editing. The crappiness could possibly have been intentional, but I haven't seen any of this guy's other vids to compare.Tsunami Jones wrote:I think you guys are taking it a bit too seriously. The vid is listed as "parody."
But, "Mind Benda," you aren't giving the Org enough credit. It seems you're looking strictly at statistics (and not even the right ones, at that).
The Org has lost that sort of functionality with the influx of new videos over the past few years. There are so many videos that any single video will be flushed under the radar. It seems trivial and nearly useless to comment on every video you watch. Because, at this point, watching AMVs is purely for entertainment, and there are so many videos that there's no reason to give any one more or less attention than another.Video description wrote:As other creators here, I check the videos, and make commentary and I expect the same level of kindness.
