if the song is terrible, your video is never going to be better than terrible.
Quite possibly the lyrical content. LP's songs are like destined to be used in AMV's. Songs like "Crawling" describe almost all male characters from animes with serious thematics.Scandia wrote:I wonder what makes Linkin Park and Evanescence so popular with AMV makers. I know they are currently popular, but there are many other currently popular bands and artists at the moment. Plus there are multiple classic tunes that can be used. And some genres get nearly overlooked, such as country.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. I was talking about the video from an audience's point of view. If the audience doesn't like your song, they aren't going to enjoy it. With the rare exception of certain comedy videos, thats the bottom line. They can appreciate all the blood sweat and tears that go into the video but they won't enjoy it.Pyle wrote:I disagree with that, I could make a good Noir AMV to a Powerman5000 song if I did it right.Beowulf wrote:not true imo.x_rex30 wrote:It doesn't matter what song is used in an AMV, as long as it's executed well.
