- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

Subject: Re: [amv] intro
I guess I'll attempt to repress my antisocial tendencies for a second and
make an introduction as well. I have been creating music videos for just
over two years now, though I have only managed to complete five so far. I
really only work on a video when I have a serious longing for excruciating
pain and ye' olde iron maiden is broken and I can't find any female
willing to wear spiked heels and brandish a whip.
I have entered all five of these products of personal purification by
perpetration of pain in the video contests at the last three Project
A-Kons. However, I really only like the later three videos, so I forced
them upon Anime Expo this year. From what I have gathered, the trilogy
("Phantom of the Opera" + Memories, "Beautiful Life" + Golden Boy, and
"Media Vita in Morte Sumus" + Evangelion) performed adequately, which
means that I will soon move to California to become a politician since the
people seem to be much nicer, even without bribes.
For anyone wondering, I started out creating my videos with a cheap JVC VCR
with insert editing and a low-end laserdisc player. Now, I'm using a nice
SVHS VCR and a higher quality laserdisc player. I'm a software engineer,
which explains my aversion to digital editing equipment.
Now I'm going to hide under the bed again. So long.

Actually, when Kevin went digital, he used a PC with a Pinnacle DC20. For "Believe" he used Photoshop and premiere along with his card. Actually, he had other people make his distribution encodings...
I asked him about it personally at AX2000

BTW, I'm not 40 something.... late 30 something

So does this mean if I quite now and Mysteriously Disappear I'll become an immortal god just like KevinVoices_Of_Ryan wrote: By the by.
