Some repercussions are neccesary, some aren't. Some repercussions are cheap.

I'm taking to everyone who posted a reply to this thread, and I admit that I'm guilty of this myself. As far as this thread is concerned, we all sound like a bunch of wankers that go on forums soely to piss of people because we get some pathetic form of enjoyment out of it. Before you post another strong oppinion that you know will lead into or continue an argument, stop, read through the thread and decide weather it appropriate. If it isnt, post something lighthearted, or post nothing at all.

Seeing as how I was the first to post a negative comment in this thread. I would just like to say I'm sorry to Oracleofseasons if I offended you in any way.

On a side note though bum, I thought the discussion we had about Avril's contribution to the art and fashion of music was fullfilling. Those on both sides now have heard views from each other on what they think and why they think it. It wasn't us bashing Oracleofseasons, it was us expressing our view on why we did or did not like Avril. It's not like we didn't give a reason why we didn't like her, and just say that she sucks with no explanation. I was trying to make the other side see why I as a person dislike her and her music, not for arguments sake, but for the sake of showing why not everybody agrees that she is the best singer ever. But again, I am sorry, and will think next time I post in this kind of thread. Except for those of you who like Evanescence.....In that case, no mercy.

Avril Lavigne pisses me off to no end. 3/4s because of her shity music, 1/4 because of her fanbase.

Her fanbase is blind, they think she's "OMG< SHE"S ZO ORIGINAL!!!!!11" because they aren't used to anything other than dolled up whores like Britney Spears bringing them thier crap. Personally, I'm not a fan of punk, but I respect the old school stuff, the ones that actually wrote thier own music and such. If you ask a generic Avril idiot at a concert who the Ramones are, they will answer "who are they?" after just saying "OMG, I LISTEN TO AVRIL< I"M PUNK!!!!!111" Seriously, I've heard it with my own ears. It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard... And on top of that, Avril's music all sucks. It sounds like normal, generic pop with stupid lyrics.

I say similar things all the time, only I usually use the phrase "electronic circle-jerk." (as opposed to "big round of grab-ass)
