its called Gaara's Duality and it is not one of those new NUB naruto amv's liek a lot out now are, this one is very well mae and very well synced, though i would have liked to put mroe effects into it but what can you do

well here is the link, (sorry for it being .wmv but i add my ending and opening with movie maker after making the vid in premiere if you need the .mpeg i have it and am trying to replace with a smaller file size......am on it)

ya know, i don't like being taken lightly, everyone thats a popular creator everyone clamors to see their vids and pays no attention to those that strive to be good and strive to make great vids

but no we're underground no one likes us......so we continue to make vids and get no ops and it pisses me the hell off

there might be someone here that makes vids better than any other creator here but unless you are well known for making somethign great in the past that vid will never get seen, i am trying to promote myself becauses i have rising potential and one day i will make vids ppl will drop their jaws at and be like O_O wow that was good

but i have to start small and simple and if i can do that i will be more than happy...... this vid might not be the best but its one of MY best and i want to share that, to hell with asses like you, i will keep promoting my vids until i die thats my goal in life, to be validated as a person adn you cannot take that away from me

o and at least i vary the animes i use in my vids instead of helping in killing animes for others....... i have tried to vary my mix becauses thats what ppl want, not the same thing over and over again.....

Also, how do you think popular creators got popular in the first place? They made really good videos. Really good videos have a tendency to be recommended to people and spread quickly. Especially when submitted to conventions.
No one starts off their AMV career (for lack of a better term) as a popular creator. Those who are had to work at it to get where they are.

If you make a great video, and advertise it decently (but not so much that it gets annoying, and that part is important), people WILL take notice.

That's where my customary advice of submitting to conventions enters the scene. Convention audiences are captive audiences; if your video is good, they WILL notice, and at least some of those people will be Org members.

Um, it IS against forum etiquette around here to make more than one announcement thread for a video. SuperFusion was merely echoing that.

There are other ways to advertise that aren't so frowned upon, you know. Like putting a link to your video info page in your signature (it works for me) and, as I already suggested, submitting to conventions (ditto). And like I said, there's always the Opinion Exchange.

Bitching and pissing people off is really not gonna help you. Most of the popular creators are popular for a reason. If you really wanna have a popular video, go to the op exchange board, get some ops, and listen to what htey say in your next video. If you make a video and start a thread here, people will see it, and if it really is good, word will spread. Untill that happens, quit bitching and work your ass off to get better.

Maybe not enough people care for Slipknot? If your the kind of person who explodes when people don't notice you, it's likely that your tastes in music are far removed from what other people like. It's not inherently a bad thing to like music that isn't popular, but it's not healthy if you listen to music you like because few other people like it. Don't search for music to call your own.

I can't really comment on the popularity of Slipknot. Slipknot may be a bad example of what I am trying to explain. But look at your other AMVs and try to guage how much real interest there is in the music present in them. Maybe it will prove to be a waste of time, but it's a lot better than trolling on message boards and making yourself very unpopular as a AMV creator.
