Downloading?

Howcome when I download with my default explorer it takes 30 minutes to dl 5mb
but when I use my downloaded download program it dls 5mb in 10secs
but I have to use the default one here.

Have you ever tried downloading with your default Netscape, Mozilla, or Opera?

What kind of downloaded 'download program' are you talking about? If it's a download accelerator - like DAP - and it doesn't work on local links (meaning you only use it for direct links), then it goes faster because it's an 'accelerator'. Those programs sap the host site and suck up a lot more bandwidth than your normal internet browser would. Most people prefer you stay away from them, and you can't use them for locally hosted amvs.

I have dsl my dl are fast
but in here they aren't
my computer is stupid WAAAAAAH!

It means you can use your download accelerator for videos that are marked with DIRECT, but you'll have to use your browser to download LOCAL videos because download accelerators are forbidden. They're forbidden because they're harmful to the server that the LOCAL videos are hosted on.

Nah, IE is just a symptom. M$ is the problem, but there's precious little we can do about that.
