- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.

New video, fresh from the Narutofan contest
Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've said a word. A long while. So rather than try to pretend like it's normal, let's all have a big huzzah for my return... Or not. At any rate, I've created a new video that took rank #8 in the Narutofan.com AMV contest, and I'm looking for opinions, so please, don't be shy.

While the contest was virtually as long as the month of November, I had about one week to complete this video, during which time most of my source was at a friend's house. The result? Made it backwards. If you've ever made a video in Premiere backwards, you feel my pain. Anyways, this is a Naruto/Gaara compare/contrast video and it's fairly basic, but if it placed in the top ten, it can't be too horrible, right? ;P Don't answer that, just go give me a view and opinion, mmk?

Gah... 100+ hits, and one opinion. Anyone who leaves an opinion on http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... d_id=59992 gets one in return, regardless of whether the opinion is highly positive or horribly negative in essence. I like criticism, folks. Help me out, and I'll help you out.

first off: 100 hits and one opinion? you're lucky! If you're specifically looking for opinions try the opinion exchange forum and go for some of the 1:1 offers, hell, you could even start one of your own!
second: the link in your second post goes to the 'opinions given' page, not your video, or, i'm guessing, whatever you intended it to.
third: the narutofan contest was a small contest for a site that isn't too well known on these boards, try entering a bigger contest with it and see how well you do.
on the other hand: i'm going to watch your vid, and i might leave you a free op if it's good enough, rejoice!

A) Will do.
B) Thanks for pointing that out. a-m-v.org doesn't have an edit function though, it would seem.
C) Narutofan.com does have over 300,000 members. Not a small site, so I'd have expected more from it.
D) That's kind of you. Love the name, incidentally. There's a *new* hitch-hiker's movie coming out. :}

i know it has a lot of memeber's but it isn't too well known on these boards, which is what i said.Kalean wrote:C) Narutofan.com does have over 300,000 members. Not a small site, so I'd have expected more from it.
