Silence of a Black Heaven

Post by Tsunami Jones » Thu Jan 13, 2005 12:49 am

I haven't made this kind of vid before, and it's always nice to do something different :).

Anime: Legend of Black Heaven
Song: Sound of Silence performed by Simon & Garfunkel

Enjoy!

Silence of a Black Heaven

EDIT: And since I'm and idiot, the title is now spelled correctly.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much! That song is one of my favorites, and I was glad that I was able to get around to doing a vid to it.

Absolutely excellent!

Loved every moment of it, despite never having seen the series. I really liked the emphasis on subtlety and character/symbolism, and the music choice gets a well-deserved nod. The visuals are top-notch clean, and the simple editing hits all the right notes.

This is definitely my favorite AMV from you so far.

***

Also, what I saw here confirms that I absolutely NEED to find this series somewhere; aside from the fact that I think I'll enjoy watching it, I already have a very good AMV idea to go with it. Alas, maybe someday...

Anyways - a perfect image of a sad rock video here.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

hmmm anyone having problems with the sound? It sounds like its really blown out. I just reformated but every other file I've tried works fine... so I don't think its a sound problem on my computer. Anyone else having issues?

I've got a 5.1 surround sound setup with a 200 watt subwoofer so its not an issue of bad speakers.

nevermind its on my end... probably a bad driver or something cause I found 2 other videos that actually have the same problem but didn't before the wipe. Its wierd though everything else works fine.

I'm glad that you liked it so much (especially the symbolism and such)! And yes, you do need to find and watch this show

Strange. Well, I hope that you're to get that worked out.
