Thanks

Yesh, you will always be my first download. *Swoon*Pie Row Maniac wrote:As I already told you, this video is adorable yet intense; the best of both worlds. Great vid.
I should really watch Last Exile sometime.
Interesting that you say "ddance" since Corran and I were debating if I should put that as a category last night. Perhaps he was right >_>.JCD wrote:Nice job, I really like the song and am quite used to really fast editing in dance-videos, but this works, too
Ya, the song is really nifty and I thank trythil for it

I'm really glad to see people saying it "feels" like an Opening since there are a few things in it that I did to mimic the feeling. It appears I succeeded. Yay!Dark-Krystal wrote:Very Nice Job. Pretty video. It could be a Great Opening
Hopefully folks will watch the show now

World changing effect I tell you :O.Janzki wrote:A whole new concept for piano keys? This is a must see.
I figured folks would notice the change of Vanship colors, but surprisingly there aren't *that many* fast paced "action" shots of their Vanship. I milked it for what it's worthSnhKnives wrote:not bad, I liked it
However I think its interesting you decided to show off claus and lavies love to fly, but in someone else's vanship.
but its kewl

At the same time, I did *try* to seperate the Vanships within sections of the chorus. You'll notice between each "change," I have some sort of pause whether it's a fade-to-black, piano keyz, characters, etc. I did that intentionally to make up for the change in color and to offset it a bit.
When in doubt...blame Core-ran : /.Corran wrote:I blame myself also. : \dwchang wrote:P.S. I blame Corran
Thanks! Means a lot from you since I really like your work. I've actually been meaning to message you about your incomplete video mix since it appears we think alike and a few of your ideas...I was thinking of doing them years ago as well...I better stop derailing my own threadsilver_moon wrote:Cool. And the "tidal keyz" were pretty nifty.

Thank youMoonlight Soldier wrote:Wicked flow :: up ::

I had watched it earlier today. The video flowed nicely. The evolved form of the "keys" weren't really needed for the video but it was all in fun and it didn't stick out like a sore thumb so it's all good. It was a good file size for a short video. However, short videos that have the potential of leaving people hanging wanting more is becoming my type style. I shall watch you closely. BWAH!

First impression: it didn't kick hard enough. On the other hand, high energy edits would have taken longer and the whole project might not have been as much fun. As it is, it looks great. I've passed over Last Exile, but now I'm thinking I should at least give it a look.
The effect is interesting (although the simple fades-to-black are very effective). Kind of a cross between a wipe and what Vegas calls 3D Blinds. The problem was seeing it for what it was, it went by so fast. It's an example of something I've been wrestling with for awhile: how to credibly show rapidly changing effects without them appearing as just a blur that the viewer barely notices. I tried one solution in my first Metropolis vid (not the piano key one), but was not too satisfied with the results. It's a continuing problem.

very intro like... feel like I should be expecting an (japanime- since I can't understand the jpop) episode after that. Great job at finding the scenes that start and end RIGHT on the beat as I know not all of those scenes are in the exact order, just wanted to bring up that I noticed an inkling more than the average effort put into this!
BEAUTIFULL footage too!
