It's understandable... but still... blaaaaaaaah.

You could alway start a long winded arguement of is Teen Tians anime..._Ice-Angel_ wrote:Ahhh, never mind that last statement; it seems they have removed it. They used to have a Non-Anime category, but I guess they didn't want to encourage it anymore. Probably a means of cutting down bandwidth costs by keeping it to official anime only.
It's understandable... but still... blaaaaaaaah.Nowhere to put my non-anime ideas. And there were so many great Teen Titan music videos too...
You could try other websites devoted to non-anime fanvids._Ice-Angel_ wrote:It's understandable... but still... blaaaaaaaah.Nowhere to put my non-anime ideas.
A lot of people don't seem to realize this but the non-anime entries you find in the anime list are entered not by the site itself but by other members._Ice-Angel_ wrote:Ahhh, never mind that last statement; it seems they have removed it. Well the site is called animemusicvideos.org for a reason. That is probably the most obvious hint as to what one should expect to find on this site.Dejana wrote:I don't understand.
In order to be eligible for the contest, I have to delete all my non-anime videos? And I'm required to have every video I EVER MADE entered in the catelog?
Excuse me, but that seems REALLY unfair. What do my other videos have to do with the eligible AMVs I made this past year? Why are those rules required for completely unrelated videos to be eligible?
Is this some sort of punishment for people who entered non-anime videos or decided to only post a few videos here? A way of forcing people to remove non-anime work, and to make them catelog videos they didn't want to? What kind of "contest" does that make this?
That's some messed-up underhanded blackmail. I'm not surprised almost all the AMVs on this site are still disqualified despite the warnings. If non-anime videos aren't allowed anymore, just say so. Don't resort to sneaky tactics like this.
And that's just for the catalogue. Never mind the uploading. You should only enter videos that meet the following criteria:
You yourself created the video. You should not enter videos that were created by someone else.
The video is an anime music video. For the purposes of this site, an anime music video is defined as a music video where the majority of the footage comes from anime. For the purposes of this site, anime-style video gamecut scenes (such as Final Fantasy) are considered "anime".
The video has been completed. It is perfectly fine to enter the video information of a completed video that has not premiered, has not been released to the public yet, or is not even available for download.
Yes you do have to get rid of all our non-anime videos and it just means that all your videos are correctly enterend into the database just go into your profile and click yes all my videos are enteredDejana wrote:I don't understand.

They have said so, numerous times in the past.Dejana wrote:If non-anime videos aren't allowed anymore, just say so.
