that "OMGBLOODANDGORE" horror bullshit you mentioned isn't horror either. Neither are.
As a matter of fact, I haven't seen one true horror video. The closest video to horror I can think of is Carlos's "Alternate Reality". This video just has a dark vibe to it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the video, I think it's awesome and well edited, I Ijust don't think it's horror.

its horror.....just because nothing jumps out at you doesnt mean its not horror. The dark atmosphere, the freaky images and things, the little girl falling off the roof.....the flying naked babies shooting lazers.....all make for a horror videoTokyoU15 wrote:that "OMGBLOODANDGORE" horror bullshit you mentioned isn't horror either. It's like I said, it's amazing how easily things can fall into horror without even being remotely close to horror.
Anyway, that's your opinion and that's coo', I'm not gonna sit here and debate it. The point is, it's an awesome video.

It is more of a suspense/creepy sort of deal as opposed to the blood guts and gore we associate with horror.
But the feel of it is spot on and it's really a neat, creepy video.

Main if flying laser babies were chasing me I'd be terrified. "I'm gonna die, and incidently I'm also completly insane." Which is not far from the case here...
AMV's and Horror have a strange relationship. More than any other genre, people can't agree what it is or isn't or even if it exists. Here is my take: If a dark video really grips you and demands your attention that's horror. It doesn't have to scare you, it just has to create a powerful feeling of tension.

In my mind that is the highest compliment a Horror video can recive.DrngdKreationz wrote:Powerful.

When I did Key The metal Idol and got the "Creepy" line from reviewers that was the top notch thing I wanted.
But yeah I loved this video when I was watching the AWA pro dvds and I was actually jealous... cause my video entry to pro didn't fit in any catagory. Well... yours fit in horror better than mine fit.... um anywhere.
