This is why I hate the top ten.... People consider the stats pages to equal good videos period and thus popularity drives who watches what....

I thought it was pretty good, actually. Some of the effects were pointless, but the scene selection was pretty decent beneith all that. The outro was so priceless
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

I completely agree with Vlad, and it's why I don't like the top 10 either. Like, the other day I looked at one of them, and this video had all high marks and everything (not perfect 10s like the one above, but fairly close) and so I thought it would be good. It was absolutly horrible. Someone who is brand new to video editing (has never made a video before) could easily make this guy's video.

The sad thing was, when I told him it was crap, he said I was blind and that I couldn't see he was talented -_-

Y'know, if you think the system is broke, then there is only one way to fix it. Leave your own opinions.

My brother downloaded this and I was searching for the anouncement thread for this thing. I shant say anything about it, good or bad, unless it is in an op. But I'm waiting for AMV4000 or Mr. Pilkington to say something about koop or something

I'm leaving one now (just downloaded).

To be a bit public about it (and attempting to not be rude remembering that the creators feelings are at stake too), I think it's about 7/10 overall. The effects didn't fit, but as SSj stated quite well, alot of the scenes had good selections.

I find it funny that all but 6 of these people either joined the day they left the op, or the day they reviewed his last vid (the set of accounts ranging around April - the ones that reviewed his other vid as well)

New 'members' who joined just for this vid tend to do it within a few minutes of each other.

Real people (8) maybe, including two of the April accounts. Note everyone who 'joined' on the times listed above have hotmail accounts - every single one. Too bad we don't have that waiting period - that would have been a kicker for a locally hosted video. ;p

Amazingly enough, I saw that video the SECOND day it came out, and it already had 20 ops and was in #77.

Watched it, realized it basically hinged on flying shapes, and disposed of it.

Well-edited? Maybe. Good video? Not in my book.

The top 10% can be rigged and while some are good on there others are well terrible. That's why I don't like it. The true way a video is known as one of the best or is liked alot is when it is shown in a contest. (Otakon, AUSA, Katsucon, AnimeExpo, Anime Next and so on.) These are the videos that deserve the attention and they prove it in the contest.

Shame on you... cheating the system....
I did wanna say something about this before, but meh.
With all said and done i still dont think it is #1 in my book but more of a sham if anything else.
