login error
ok. I try logging in but get the message 'Authentication failed. Please re-login to refresh your session.', so I close the window, open it up again (just in case) enter my login info, and get the same message. So after I get a new password, I can login, but when I try to login later, I get the same message as stated earlier. So I try getting a new password again, and of course, it doesnt work no matter how many times I try. If your going to complain about Internet Explorer, im using Firefox, and already deleted all cookie files. Im going to go to sleep now...

*shrugs*
Normally people just wrote either the name or password wrong...
Without noticing of course.
If not that then the relationship between your WB and the Org isn't working.
Truly see no reason for this problem.

This came up a while back with Firefox. If you accidentally mistyped your password, and Firefox automatically *remembered* that mistype, it'll keep logging you in incorrectly. There's a place in the settings where you can delete 'saved' information like that (same way you'd clear cookies in IE), but I don't remember where it is.Onnen wrote:would also like to say that I have the same problem on an Earthlink browser, and I doubt I spelled my username and password wrong over ten times
Look back a few pages in this section and you should find the thread. Otherwise, play with your settings till you find out how to delete 'saved passwords'. I don't use Firefox, so I can't walk you through it.

Already checked for spyware and other stuff like that, and have used ad-aware, plus I have cleared saved passwords, though I didnt have any saved (to my knowledge). Also cleared all other data on Firefox to see if that would work, which it hasnt. And I doubt its my computer due to the fact the site worked perfectly before, until I got the error one day, which I was able to fix by changing my pass, though thats not working now.

I've also been trying for the last two days to upload a video, and can't connect. I tried in firefox, IE, and WS_FTP. The ftp program reports that the authentication failed, the browsers don't even get as far as to let me enter a password. I've repeatedly canceled and asked for new login info. I'm pretty sure I didn't consistently type wrong. I also tried all the cookie clearing stuff, disabling the firewall, all to no effect.
So I think there may be a problem with the ftp site. At least you are not alone...
Please yell if you found a solution

If Firefox is failing you, have you tried using a different program like Opera or IE? I know people complain about IE, but so far I haven't met anyone who couldn't log in eventually - the errors you get with IE are commonly known, and easily gotten around. And Opera tends to work great for at least a week before it gets buggy. ;pOnnen wrote:Already checked for spyware and other stuff like that, and have used ad-aware, plus I have cleared saved passwords, though I didnt have any saved (to my knowledge).
