FFX-2 Skater Boy
While this isn't exactly NEW it was lost and I just recently recovered it and spiced it up. Its gotten pretty good feedback so far.

Same reason as the above, I have to take better care of my AMVs... Also I realize the song artist might be wrong, >.< The song had no artist with it when I got it so I did a search and came up with this.

Gundam: Before Crisis
I love the anime, I love the song... I think it came out pretty cool for such a short video.

Anyway, just downloaded and watch FFX-2 Skater Boy, because of my inherent interest in that song (*cough*)

First, you listed the song wrong, it's actually Sk8er Boi.

Second, as a VGMV this is a pretty poor effort. Sk8er Boi tells a story, and therefore your video should tell a story. Unfortunately, the FFX2 intro doesn't really tell much of a story, it's just an excuse for good CGI work and heroines in short skirts.

The editing is weak (you pay attention to some hits in the song and ignore others), the video quality is bad (as a general result of using WMV), and the content of the video <i>just isn't that interesting</i>. If I wanted to watch Yuna stand around and sing for 2 minutes I'd go find my copy of FFX-2.

Then again, this appears to be your first video, so I'm sure you've improved since then. Right?

I downloaded, I watched, I critiqued. I've examined his profile and may download more, at which point I may or may not choose to critique. They tell me life is pain. Etc.

Well when I made the video that was really all that was out... Finding any other CG of it was pretty hopeless. I wasn't trying to tell the story or make some ground breaking video, just poking fun at how she went from silent keeping to her self summoner to a singing whore. And does it really bother you that much that the song is listed as Skater Boy and not Sk8ter Boy or w/e? I made a video with what I had, I don't have the money to go out and get some fancy great editor and I don't own the game to rip it, did all I can thats really all that matters. Don't like it, don't like it.

That's a hat-trick of Things Not To Be Done. And acting all defensive isn't going to solve anything.

That said, the "plethora" bit did make me laugh.

FFX - Took the video from online since, well I don't own the game... Don't even think it was out in the US at the time I made it. Song from my sisters cd.

Shopping Market - Video burned from my DVD's, song from my friend

Gundam one - Video from DVD, song doesn't exist outside of the trailer its from.

Didn't mention downloading any songs... and since when did I mention downloaded software? WMM2 came with the PC.

No need to say stuff that doesn't need to be said.
