Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

if this is spamming or something, tell me, i just wanted to say i put up lyrics since some people were having trouble understanding them, and 95% of the googled sites that have MSI lyrics seem to be totally wrong... so yeah.

sorry for four replies in a row, but there's no button to edit posts :X

anyways, i massively upped the bitrate on my video, fixed the interlacing problems on some parts of the video, but now there's this odd glitch at 1 minute and 3 seconds that reveals the subtitles for 1/100th of a second, then it fixes itself 0_o but overall the video is better than ever now.. just posting it down, yeh.

well, if there was edit buttons, i wouldn't be spamming, but... yeah :X just keeping updates on my video, but that will probably be the last one cause i cant really figure out anything else i could possibly fix without changing the video at the core level.

Some people take a while to post ratings, the numbers will go up I assure you.

As for the vid, it was certainly an interesting short, I'm not the biggest MSI fan, but I give you credit for managing to synch to that particular song relatively well. Still, some of the effects you used, namely the color manipulation, felt a bit distracting. Overall it's a decent vid though.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

The video did not stand out your explained concept to me.
I felt it was another action video with only fight scenes used in the whole AMV.
The editing was pretty decent, with some interlacing/macroblocking issues here and there.
Good job.
i agree. i felt that the point of the AMV was rather unclear or not there. it was all fighting. but other than that IT WAS ALWESOME! :D the effects and the beats fits the movements sooo well xDDD if you didnt tell me that this was ur 1st AMV i would've thought that u were at this 4 yrs. im a beginner in making AMV 2, i wish my 1st AMV was as good as yours xDD;;

otbwavelength - how did u edit the clips so that it is neon outlined, etc.

"(yes i used color balance to fade to black but only four or three times during the entire video.)"

how were you able to this? did you took pictures of clips and edited them in photo shop and put it back in the story line? :?:

?? i only edited one picture, just the last time the song says "future future future future" and it shows the konoha audience, i edited the first clip in that so the bottom wasn't showing.

where on the timeline are you talking about..?

by color balance i meant i put the brightness down on the clips gradually to simulate a fade out.

and what neon outline do you mean?
