Big contribution, the "classics" poll...

Post by OmniStrata » Thu Sep 12, 2002 1:20 pm

My next quick pick will now be determined by you all...

8)

I just need this question answered...
which anime will it be?
this poll will go up to 20 entries and the one with the most wins! ^_^

anime for me to review:

Evangelion
DBZ (yes, that's right... )
Gasaraki
Nadesico
Appleseed
Dragon Slayer
Great Teacher Onizuka
Angel Links

These are all classic anime which I've viewed in their entirety (except DBZ and GTO) I've seen a majority from these two.

Ok, which one should I dive into and analyze?

"Strength lies in action. Let the weak react to me..." - Kamahl, Pit Fighter from Magic: the Gathering
"That is a mistake many of my enemies make. They think before they act. I act before I think!" - Vortigern from Merlin ('98)
"I AM REBORN!" - Dark Schneider Bastard!! OAV

Any but DBZ....

I just started watching Gasaraki, so it might be fun to read what you think about that. :D

Well I wouldn't mind an intelligent, flameless deconstuction/analysis of DBZ. However if Omni doesn't fell like going through with it, Nadesico.
It's a series I've been meaning to start getting, it looks pretty good, or at least interesting. The only turn-off so far is the mecha content.

In-depth DBZ...that would take 5 minutes...tops...

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar (I know the titles I just haven't gotten around to seeing them yet...I know, I know, shame on me...) with a lot of these so I'm gonna say EVA

the one people know the least about, that way if its a good anime it gets a plug and peopel will go out and see it.

Gasaraki. I like it, and it would be interesting to see what other people think.
Who knows what fires burn in the souls of others, or what burdens weigh upon their hearts?
