PM me with some links to the times when I 'dissed' people like I'm better than them. And please explain this 'got a little lucky with a few videos' statement. As far as I know, I haven't even *announced* my videos for over a month. o.O
"not that these 'mood only' fanatics care "

Thats called dissing.
And I'm now even talking about this month, or last month. You come off as some snob "goddess" who thinks she can say whatever she wants and get away with it.

[paizuri: VOR, stop trying to start a flame war with Ari. She has continued to show the same gracious manner that she has since she's been posting here. Consider this a ban warning.]

I'm all for lyric sync but I don't think a field for it in the opinions is really nessesary... but then again, we do have a lipsync field. : /

Given. But fanatic is someone who believes in something to the point of obsession and tries to force others into following the belief. Read that discussion I mentioned - the person was 'holier-than-thou' when stating his mantra. That's obsession, hence the fanatic. And no, from the statements in that discussion, they don't care. They don't believe a story can/should/is allowed to tell a story.
And I'm now even talking about this month, or last month. You come off as some snob "goddess" who thinks she can say whatever she wants and get away with it.
I've always believed members of this forum have the right to state their opinions on subjects so long as they are not breaking the forum rules. "S the fuck U" is far more flamatory than any statement I've EVER made on this forum. If using a word like fanatic (which I've defined and explained) is snobbish, sorry. I put the disclaimer in my sig so people know I have absolutely no authority for what I say - that is all I can do.

I'm not going to stop giving my opinions just because I state them in a firm manner. I believe what I believe. You don't have to agree, but you can't silence me until the forum makes a rule saying "don't state your opinion without permission."

Now, if it's my language that bothers you, I did try the one-liner posts a few months back. But that led to double-posting, so I had to stop. :?

/any more discussion of this - PM me or email me (arigatoumina@hotmail.com) - I don't want to be the reason for a thread being locked

On-Topic

I think the lip-sync field is good because you can 'dis-choose' it. If we were to add a lyric sync field, it would need the same choice to 'disregard'. Especially for the instrumental vids. ^_^;

but....with that type of "disclaimer" it might lead some to believe that you think so highly of yourself and what people think of you that they think your an admin/mod

============back on track===============

Lyric sync is just not going to be that important an editing choice....sorry to say. It is a great thing if done properly...but i don't think it should be THAT important. Besides....if something in the vid syncs with the lyrics...then i let them know in my op. Plus...i let them know if i think the song matched their vid...no matter what kind of vid it is.

I belive the forum also asks that you be polite to other members?
I could be wrong... Maybe it doesnt :roll: .

And ontopic. It doesnt matter, I don't think the opinion polls have been changed since they've first been up (please correct me if i'm wrong).
And I do belive lyric sync is so optional in a video that if it does happen, it she be added into the Effort score.

Coming from you... that's pretty funny.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I know. :D I just felt like causing a ruckus and seeing how many trolls I could flush out.

(Actually B, I usually find your posts stimulating (like a prostrate exam) and I'm a little surprised you so debased yourself by going for the lowest denominator.)

Anyway, back to the intelligent conversation...
Wong wrote:I see lots of videos where they take scenes with items, or actions in them, that perfectly match the words...but not the meaning of the lyrics...or the synergy of the video. Haveing to be rated on your lyric sync is going to make a lot of people make REALLY shitty video's.
Ok, good argument. (From you too Arigatomyna) But I still think there should be a better definition or available 'grade' of synch than just action cuts or lip movement. If someone is going for a 'mood' than why not let them opt out of having a grade there like lip synch or effects? I'm a storyteller. Maybe my vision isn't what someone else sees. They could explain that as part of the general comments (If they are intelligent enough to leave a good comment anyways.) and it would be a valuble part of the overall feedback.

I try to act as curiousitly as I can.
Some people push me farther than others.

I really try not to confront people about it, because I do try to be nice to people FLINT.

Hell I even tried several times to make amends with you =\ (and SEVERAL other people).
