Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
 • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
 • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
 • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
 • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hey all, I finished this video about a month ago. I posted it at Slayer Pro, but lagged on tossing it up here. But I was feeling pretty bored, so here it is. Its my best AMV so far, i'm not saying its award winning, but it is in my book. Any comments appreciated!

I don't recommend bumping, even if you are lacking responses. That will usually lead to thread locking- which is quite the opposite you want!

I'll watch your video...

Very interesting video. The biggest problems I have with it is the overusage of 3D effects. When the song picks up to the fast section nothing seemed to change and you stood in 3D mode still. More diversity and a clearer cut of scenes would have been better in this amv. Also, the credits writing was bothersome. Also, why are you encoding in .WMV? I recommend encoding in DivX, XviD, or MPEG in order to obtain better audio and visual quality.

Overall a nice video, just a few things that make a big difference in how the video flows.

thanks for the comments. i learned alot of new things with this video, but i also learned alot since i've finished and now. i did try to seperate the the start of the song, more of like, the intro slow part where i used the 3D and the triangles, away, from the faster part of the song. but i ended up using the 3D again for some odd reason i can't remember. As for the encoding, i really didn't know what to do for compressing then, now i know better. lol and the credits were a little long. but most people i assume stop watching at the credits. lol they were a minute long, i guess if i could chnage one thing, that would probly be it. hhaha
