Even though this is Falco's most popular song I don't like it one bit. I'm more fond of "Wienna calling", but that just isn't AMV material now is it?

About the vid: Haven't seen it, but I'll give it a go. Although I really don't know what to expect from the concept.

I will admit that, the first time I heard it, my reaction was one of "WTF... how the hell did this get to #1 on the charts??"

Actually, the only Falco songs I know are this one and "Der Kommissar". <^^

Sorry, don't know a lick of German, so I didn't have a choice

If there's one part I'm unsatisfied with, it's "Er war ein Punker und er lebte in der grossen Stadt"... I couldn't find much of anything that showed Asaba being punkish, and the cityscape shots just look out of place, being as dark and slow as they are.

Also, I had no idea what to put for "Er hatte Schulden denn er trank", since, well, Asaba doesn't drink and he's not in debt

but I figured that Arima smacking him kinda-sorta worked given the lack of anything better.

Fun!

The 80s cheesiness and the character's parody-ish-ness are a nice fit. And keeping it short keeps the joke from getting worn out, so that was a good choice.
