Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Scintilla nailed on every point I would have offered, so I can't really say anything else.

:: takes a bow ::

Oh my, what a goof I am. I humbly apologize...I saw the Queen and David Bowie's "Under Pressure" and jumped the gun. :: self bonk ::

I had your vid confused with one I saw Saturday night and went off of that. I'm glad it gave you guys a laugh because I'm kicking myself over here.

In an effort to remedy the situation and offer a slightly more applicable response, I'm downloading yours right now.

Once again, sorry for the goof, and glad you guys had a giggle at my idiocy and expense. =0)

P.S. Is it too late to blame Nyquil? =0)

...now that I've actually seen this vid...

There were some parts in the beginning and end that really should have synched up better, namely the finger snaps and bassline beats.

Then there were a couple places where I thought the clips could have been better used elsewhere, namely about 2/3rd of the way through when Freddie Mercury is holding his note and you had this shot zooming out from a girl screaming and her robot is screaming with her...that's a
great shot, but I don't feel it was put to its best use.

Now that I'm done with the bad, the good is that I thought it was a great match up of anime to music. Talk about being under pressure. =0)

Unlike Scintilla there, I did like how you held the 2 clips over each other during the sustained bass beat. I thought it was innovative and annoying enough to make me want to watch more.

The quality of the video was half a notch below top quality, which I'm going to assume just sprang up from the encoder, but the sound quality was top notch.

Lastly, the clips you chose were great. I thought they worked very well.

4 out of 5 stars from me. I still like it. =0)
