My AWA 10 Masters AMV
This is My MASTERS video for 2004.
I remember sitting on a bench with Wonka at Ushicon 3 and telling him about this Desperado/Trigun idea I had and wanted to make this EPIC music video to it. Wonka loved the idea and said that would be a great video to make. Trailers mimic movies, but Wonka and I had never actually seen a music video take a good chunk of a movie out and use it as an Anime Music Video.
The final end result?
An Anime Music Video with a 6 minute introduction and 2:30 minute music video with one of the best spanish songs ever made. Yes, the entire video is 8:33 seconds. I am damn proud of it.
And I believe it's one of the only bi-lingual Anime Music Videos ever made. So what are you waiting for? Go Check it out!

Machine, I really liked your vid at AWA, but the thing that made me upset is you didn't even attempt to match backgrounds. So you had Wolfwood taking a sip of his canteen in the bus, then he's in the bar suddenly, and then he's in a completely other area outside.
I bet if you atleast put effort into trying to make the backgrounds match, you would've won Masters. ^_^;

I agree. You could almost rip just that part out and submit it as a complete music video, but the whole narrative setup would be lost (as well as the impact of the "music video" itself).mexicanjunior wrote: Still an awesome vid though, the music video part especially rawked.
It's incredibly appropriate, even though there are a lot of continuity errors, it's such a great parody. If there was a way of distinguishing between Wolfwood's scenes in the bar (telling his story), and Vash's scenes ~ maybe that might have helped, but I don't know. Everything just sort of blended together and the only think carrying the video was the dialogue.
The music video part had too much...um...short flash cuts, but that was an editing style you choose to compliment the guitars. I'm just saying I probably would have tried something different, so I won't count that against you.
Overall, I really liked it. Easily a 5 star video.
