Filesize-to-quality ratio has a few mitigating factors you may be overlooking. Video length is one of them. A video that is 90MB will not look like super high-quality if it's 8 minutes long.iranai wrote:I will not bash any coice of resoluion chosen to save filesize, ( although i'm dubious of 320x240 and below ) as long as the filesize accuretly reflects the video quality ( in ohterwords, if it's a 15 meg encode, i expet it to look like a 15 meg encode. )
What I have problems with are people who present low quality video with a huge filesize. ( ie, 320x240 resoluioin, 60 meg + filesize )
Harsh critic, helpfull advice.

Not overlooking, just not specifying the exact terms i'm looking at while grading that point. Besides, the amount of motion in a video has a MUCH greater influcence on filesize ( at the same quality ) than video length does. 8P. I may clarify this point in the next revision of my guide though.BishounenStalker wrote: Filesize-to-quality ratio has a few mitigating factors you may be overlooking. Video length is one of them. Hello! The second one here, please!! (Other People's Eyes)

I know there's going to be a bunch of bad, lol, as it's my second one. If you're as "harsh" as they say then I don't want you looking at my first!!
In advance: It's FF8 (both are, actually, but I only want one for the second) but I checked first and I don't believe this song has been done with it yet. (The song for the other vid I couldn't find used with any vid on the entire site!)
