Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Third Lens Open Presents 'Come What May' (AWA Pro Entry)

Post by dokool » Wed Sep 22, 2004 10:56 am

It's that time of year, when the 'Org virtually dies as every editor makes his way down to Atlanta for AWA, and when the AMV community awaits a veritable flood of new video announcements.

Since it's already Thursday (here in Tokyo, at least), and AWA Pro voting has been finished for a few days, I figured why not start things off?

Anyway, here's my AWA Pro video. Local link is available now, Direct link will be added when my connection is a bit more stable.

Having watched the Pro discs, I'm honored to have competed against such amazing entries, all of which I hope will be announced on this forum in the next few days.

Title: Come What May
Anime: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Artist: Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
Song: Tomorrow

Ops/feedback/etc appriciated as always.

Enjoy!

 Neither would have I. I did enjoy it though. don't think I voted it in anything in the finals... (if it even was in the finals, I can't remember) but I did like it.

It wasn't, which is part of my decision to release it now. Figured I'd give it a day or two in the spotlight before all the finalist Pro/Master vids overshadow it...

Well, this vidoe has more soul then most of yours ,but, it was missing
something... I love basic videos ,but, the flow seemed all wrong
for this video. Maybe some flashbacks or the overall length of the video that threw me for a loop.
