Advance Wars 3: Evangelion Commercial ReHack

Post by greenjinjo » Sat Sep 18, 2004 11:11 pm

Well, in celebration of exactly one year of making AMVs, I present to you a revised edition of Advance Wars 3: Evangelion Commercial, now with the added ReHack in the title :D

http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=45353

Those of you who have seen the original will not notice too many differences between the two, but a few of the scenes have been replaced, some of the sync cleaned up, and the use of a bit of Eva Platinum.

The file on the local server is an MPEG-2, look for an indirect MPEG-1 link soon.

Let me know what you think :D

If you have a significantly-smaller version available, I'm dying to see it >_>

MPEG-1 is now on my server (link in profile), but it'll certainly take longer to download :(

Should I replace the local version with the MPEG-1 55 meg file instead?

Nah, don't worry about it - my speed sucks anyways.

I'll seriously consider getting it, but if my bandwith limit is looming nearer than I thought, I might have to hold it off 'til next month/when I get normal bandwith :(

/adds to growing list of stuff I want to get.

Ah, sorry about that :( I appriciate your interest in it though :)

Yeah, I really do apologize about the file size, but I decided I'd try this one in MPEG-2, and it looks better than the original, but obvisouly size suffers.

*Still needs to really learn how to create XviDs*

I can hardly wait for the 5th of Winter. And don't worry about Xvid, Xvid is easy to learn, even i've gotten the hang of it.

Looks pretty much like the first video with a few changes made. It's still a very funny video, but I was looking at the random scenes quickly rushing by at the end and was a little disappointed that one of my suggestions didn't make it.
>Possibly a battle screen with a
>group of tanks from the anime(like from episode 1) on
>one side and a group of tanks from Advanced Wars on
>the other.)

Brilliant =) Look for this in the final version.
Well, it's your video, so you do what you like with it, but just to see what it would look like, I threw this sample shot together.

Anyway, nice job with the video.
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Neon Genesis Evangelion: Substance "Everyone knows that it's a dangerous substance."

OMG! How did I forget that?

baka baka baka baka baka baka

That was going to be one of the funniest parts!

Man, I'm sorry about that, I was going to put that in there and then completely forgot :(

I've had a few people tell me they'd like to see Advance Wars 3 Commercial 2 (like a completely different AW3 commercial) and if that ever happens, I will remember to put that in there.

Sorry about that again, and that was such a funny idea!
