The other thread “died” so thought I should create another.

What’s your favorite Gundam and why?

Mine’s Wing Zero.
Why?
Just look at it , so much power.
But, must confess I’ve something with the Gundams in G-Gundam, they’re just so funny.

I suppose I was pretty vague in the last thread as to why I like the 08th Ms Team, so here goes.

The soldiers eye view, of course. I have to say I loved the animation. It was short. This is not always a good thing, but it worked well with this story. The two lovers on opposite sides of a war. Though that's a little cliche, I still really liked it here. But what really makes it my favorite of the Gundam series was the duel between Shiro and Norris in the second to the last episode. This has got to be my favorite mecha battle of all time.

That about wraps it up.

What’s your favorite Gundam and why?

Hmmm...three way tie:

-MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam...very stylish design with enough skills to more than hold its own.
-RX-93 Nu Gundam...to date, one of the only Gundams to employ funnels...and it does it damned well.
and
-Gundam F91...I can't quite figure out how to say it other than, I just really love this design.

favorite gundam hmm, hmmm, hhhmmm, cant answer that question but my favorite MS would be the Dom, I think a Dom with an ace pilot can take out a Gundam anyday. I'm sorry, its just that I like the Zeon better then the fedi scum. It was sad to see the Black Tri Stars a;; destroyed by just 1 gundam. -_- If only I was their with my Dom at the time it wouldnt have happend. Dom's are cool with their amazing speed and armor. needless to say that their bazooka is powerfull also. If a day comes where the fedi scum steal the Dom's specs and make it a gundam they will burn in hell

As long as it has to with Gundam then it's on-topic.
The first question was just a "starter".

Plus, confessing that I don't know that much about Gundam.
In terms of history and names (bad memory).
But I truly want to learn about Gundam, since there are some Gundam Sensei here.

Some of my favorite Gundams.

Devil Gundam: I liked G Gundam more for its characters than anything else, except for Rain's father, total loser. But the Devil Gundam really stood out because it was very menacing and it had a very unique design. Think about it, it had an extra head for it's crotch! That's hilarious! A-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Ha-ha-ha. Hee-hee-hee. Hee-hee. Hoooo. Oh never mind.

Altron Gundam (T.V. version): Two giant claws are better than one. Plus, it's got the duel flam throwers.

Epyon: Totally evil looking, and it's red.

Non-Gundams: Zaku II and the Gouf from 08thMS Team.

I liked G Gundam better than the other ones. They all kept you into them but G Gundam has more...."feeling"...I guess, it was that love/hate relationship between some of the characters.

Now I like Gundam Seed too! I've only watched like...3 episodes but they're all pretty cool.

Favorites? Probably my own designs. Oh official ones? Alright.

Wing Gundam Zero Katoki (Custom to the rest of you): The angel wings were very cool and gave WZ a god like look, reflecting what it really is.

Wing Gundam Zero Okawara (The T.V. Version): It's a very cool looking fighter in it's own right. I mean, MS mode aside, it would still look cool.

RX-93-2, Hi-Nu-Gundam: Fin Funnels + Beam Field = j00 d34d f00!

Freedom Gundam: It's very ugly to some persons, but I like the idea of the auxiliary wing cannons.

Yeah, those Gundam are cool, then again most Gundam are (in my opinion).
I would say that people can/should post pics/screencaps here (so we can see the Gundam and/or anything else) but don't know if they're allowed anymore.

Unlike some people I like G-Gundam.
To me it's like the "almost a parody-funny with some angst” Gundam of the Series.
Nevertheless there's something that always bothered me...
When Domon gets into the Gundam fighting mod; at first they show the whole “transformation” sequence (the shinny black bodysuit).
Has anyone noticed that in the original “un-cut” sequence there’s a butt shot?
Really, a Domon butt shot.
Or am I the only one that noticed?
