Well for one try this, This is the subject of much debate though
"I've spent the last ten years of my life defending my country, I've sacrificed for it, fought for it, and bled for it, now it's time I got something back, so please just respect me and my fellow Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines as we continue to do this job."

Whoa whoa...coughing blood? Blood spots on the body? Sounds like Korean Hemorraghic Fever to me. We had to watch training videos on it during my tour in Korea. It rarely progresses to terminal level, but when it does, that's it's exact effects. Think a very slow form of the Ebola virus that usually doesn't kill you. It's transmitted through rat urine (inhaling the dried urine dust), rat feces, or rat bites. It has to go through a rat though (kinda like how West Nile encephalitis needs a bird in the cycle to affect people), so how did Kaoru get it....hrm.

I wonder if that's a hidden stab at one of the characters *cough*Sousaphonist wrote:It has to go through a rat though, so how did Kaoru get it....hrm.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Not an intentional stab at all. But now that you mention it, it sounds pretty funny. I haven't seen Samurai X: Reflection (on advice of several friends) so I can't confirm or deny anything....
