Around 1:35 in, there's a clip of Guts in what definitely looks to be his Black Swordsman armor fighting against Judeau, Pippin, Caska, and Corkus...any idea what exactly is up with this? (As much as I'd like to be able to believe I just missed something here and this is really a pre-Hawks scene, the metal arm definitely suggests otherwise.)
You know what I notice that too. I have all four mangas that have come out so far, and have seen the whole series on dvd, but nothing talks about it yet. The only thing I thought of when I saw that is that Griffith came in or one of those other demon guys (and girl) came in and hit Guts in his soft spot so to speak. Because if you look at the big picture

Griffith tells Guts that for some one to be his true friend they need to have their own dreams and and to not be bound by anyone elses. Guts does this and leaves the Hawks in search for that. Of course Griffith doesn't like that so, especially when he loses to Guts. Then he goes crazy rapes the princess and you know the rest. Towards the end Griffith blames Guts for his tortur and the lose of his power. That's why Griffith decides to become a Demon, and in his state I would to.
There for Griffith proabably makes Guts feel like he is responsible, and as you can see just before he fights them they seem to look at him mockingly. So, I feel that its Griffith makes Guts have to kill them again for in a sence Guts is repsonsible for their deaths in the first place.
So, there is my guess. For those of you who are reading the Manga or have read the translated ones from the Hawks site. I want to know when Casca comes in. In the dreamcast game and in the preveiw for this new game she is there and looks mentally insane or in perminent shock. However she has not appeared in the manga, or at least the first four. So, please let me know when she comes in.
