Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Actually, there shouldn't be any more G-Forces to deal with, as most modern aircraft - thrust-vectored or not - are limited by constraints of the airframe and the pilot, not the lack of manueverability. Most modern fighters have a +9/-3G limit (though some have soft limiters), which is commonly achieved but rarely broken.

Thrust-vectoring is mainly an improvement for high-alpha performance, especially at low speed. It allows planes like the F-22 or the Su-37 to temporarily maintain controlled flight at huge AoA. Aircraft without thrust vectoring either have an alpha limiter to prevent them from ever reaching these angles, or, if they don't - risk departure from controlled flight when they attempt to execute similar manuevers.

Erm, I want to see this video badly. It's high up there on the list of vids I'll download soon as I get normal internet access. Hope it's good 8)

I don't want to be a jerk, but I can tell you, from first hand experience, a jet can over G (Due mostly to pilot stupidity) and it does a number on the airframe, imagine an F-16 with the motor pulled and all exterior panels removed and you are looking for cracks the size of a hair.

End of Rant

PWOLF, you have blown me away again with this trailer, I loved the first and this was even better, keep it up

(I think I'll PM RedFusion on this one to avoid turning this into one of my nightmarish 'smart discussions' :P Unless anyone's interested in the um... technical paraphanelia of it all.)

Drat. 8 days I tells you, 8 days. This thing sounds like my type of AMV.

I'm also glad there's actually airplane-centred games that are popular enough to have trailers, and AMV editors cool enough to make videos to them

...keep up the good work dood, even if I don't know what it looks like, yet...
