I only know 3 animes...HELP!

Hi my anime collection consists of DBZ(DB & GT), Escaflowne, and the Ninja Scroll movie. I've seen some Inuyasha and Runrouni Kenshin and they're cool but right now im looking for like Futuristic anime shows or movies. Give me some advice!

futuristic would have to be either Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, or Evangelion.

Most of the mecha types are futuristic. Nadesico is fun, Gundam Wing is a good series, Gasaraki is quite good a little deep, Evangelion is one of the best but hard to understand the deeper meanings, Dai Guard is another humorous one, Outlaw star is a good series. There is lot's to choose from.

I would start out by buying anime movies instead of anime series. With movies, you only need to buy one DVD and you've got the whole thing. With series, there is a lot more money to spend...

Depending on your personality and mood, I would reccomend Metropolis, Akira, and Ghost In The Shell...

its futeristic meaning that it should have bein another 10 years or so before something this bad was made.

evangelion however, well its sold more dvd's than any other anime. actualy its the most popular anime ever. it had an effect on people. my mum got pissed of when i made her watch the movie (end of evangelion) . she said that their was enough bad shit going on in real life and she didnt need a piece of fiction to be so distressing. the platinum edition renual dvd's started coming out about a month ago. get them.

you know what i heard i heard that lain was alot more confusing then eva and raxephon and i also heard that lain makes those two look like pokemon(in the words of madbunny), now dont get on my case get on madbunnys case about that cause hes the one that said that not me.

Metropolis (robots & intrigue).

Memories (three alone-standing episodes).

Gundam Series (it's long, mecha).
