I also want to add that I consider editing like this to be THE hardest forms of editing. It's pretty easy to line up a solid colored object onto a beat, but it's quite another to match something animated to that beat. And precision is not always best. This is because there is always some kind of delay in how your brain registers the effect. A lot of times if you try and go dead on it'll wind up looking like crap when you play it because that perfect level of synch isn't aligned with how the human brian registers the sounds and images and much more so on an animated sequence that a solid colored flash or scene split.

It comes as no surprise to me to find that my expectations for videos to be higher. I don't like it, but it's natural for it to happen since I've surrounded myself in this hobby for the past few years.

Thankfully, however, my expectations haven't risen so much that I can't enjoy a lot of the videos I watch.

You might just, but I'd be willing to bet that if you do you'll put more than 10 minutes of effort into it. BTW, the 10 minutes I took, included the time to harvest the clips, export the final and upload to my server.

But hey, let's see what ya got. If it's any good then I'll turn around and see if I can best you. And remember, no effects, only animation synch.

Yah, cuz by the time I wrote that I was looking @ my monitor with only 1 eye open . if I tried then it would have come out just as good as yours.
