Wind Of Renmei by Venomi from Arctic Tribe
Well... First, this AMV is mostly lyrich/mood synching and there is no fancy effects. The idea is somewhat deeper in the video. And no much beat synching because i was kinda short in the material that fits the song. :-/ Anyway, for those who does not know thew song, it's kinda "suicide" song. "fly away. to the rainbow in the sky" It fits the Haibane Renmei's day of flight. It represents death in it's own way, so does the song too. I think it fits well, but it's your choise to make the final judgement.

Eyecandy is not mindcandy. Real soul is hidden in the lyrics.

Beautiful video, I loved it. I think I got the lyrics & mood combination and it worked pretty well. About synch, I can't complain, you got the important changes in the music right, there's not much more I want
As said in the Arctic tribe channel, aspect ratio is wrong and the 29,97 fps make it jerky in these image pans, this disturbs in some parts.
Oh and a slow fadeout at the end would've been a lil better, too, I think
Overall very nice video

I'll pretty much have to agree with JCD here, a really good video. Of course it helps that this is one of my favourite series. ^^; I was a little afraid how Manowar would work with HR but you managed to pull it off. Congratulations!
It was strangely jerky, but I don't think keeping 29.97 fps is the reason for that. I tried to IVTC Haibane Renmei once, but that made all pans very choppy. I believe most of those were animated in 29.97 to begin with. Here's the thread I made about it.

You're right. The lyrics fit, almost prefectly. But the atmosphere of the anime somewhat conflicts with the "epic" nature of the song. I'm watching something rather subdued with muted colors and a somber environment, and I'm hearing orchestral music in the background.bote wrote: The lyrics fit...in a way...but the atmosphere...will check it too.
Kind of wierd but I like it. Nice work.[/i]
