What genre anime do you prefer?

My genre is the one that includes all of them.
I've watched (and loved) anime ranging from Yami no Matsuei to Gravitation to Sailor Moon to DBZ to Furuba to Escaflowne to CCS.
8) I'm eclectic...so what?

Um I enjoy a good action anime once in awhile, but for the most part I really enjoy ones that install a feeling in you. Any emotion really, hate, sorrow, joy, just as long as you feel something. For me, that is what makes a great anime. Some that I have really liked are, Grave of the Fireflies and Voices from a Distant Star.

Well...as a rule, I try to give prettymuch anything a shot, but more often than not, I tend to veer towards mecha...

I usually prefer fantasy or sci-fi. I like anime that makes you think (where you have to put some effort into understanding it). Boogiepop, Texhnolyze, Eva, RahXephon, Lain, etc. I got a bad headache from Boogiepop though (literally).

Well I really like the good old fashioned Giant Death Robot anime. Cut my teeth on Robotech and Mazinger. Still like that genre, but have expanded into other feilds, but try to avoid any witn the one Guy , many girls. Find them too annoying (bit of an old cynic here). Generally l'll go for anything with realistic characters.

Everything though I have huge Dark-Shojo Drama-streak a milewide
(Saikano Favorite series, followed by Gundslinger Girl)

I like all genre of anime ... but if i had to pick .. i would have to go with Action .. and Romantic/comedy genre's ... those r the ones i like to watch the most ... 8)

Hmm, it have to be mecha orientated anime (no not gundam!)

I just love the m,echanics of it all, from body armor to 100ft tall mecha, got to love all that engineering............
