Greetings fellow hitchikers from Ursa Minor Beta! I guess I'm new here, so don't treat me like scum, unless you CAN guess that I'm new here, in which case you can send me a telepathic message. Now. As in right now.
Regardless, I have two movies to present. The first is the spoiler riddled Trigun flick I did a month ago to try out iMovie. The only problem I have with it is that I can't show it to my friends because they still haven't seen Trigun and all want to see it. (<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... ">Wolfwood of Change</a>).
The other is a fun ditty I did on a dare after DMing a round of the new Eberron Campaign. It doesn't really have any spoilers in it because its nothing more than 2 big fight scenes with Gaara (<a href="http://www.narutofan.com">Naruto</A>). Also, be sure to look at the last few seconds of the flick. I think its the most artistic part (<a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 856">Gaara Needs to Loosen Up</a>).
Don't be afraid to be brutal: how else will I learn? Also don't be afraid to be Leonard Nemoy: how else will we overthrow the Poweraid Sports-Drink Empire? And don't forget to forget the color bluwn.
I'm new and so are my 2 movies.

Welcome to the org!
I watched your Trigun video, and here are my thoughts:
The song matched Wolfwood's story pretty well, and it certainly wasn't a random-scene video, like a lot of people's first AMV's are. I thought it was very emotional and a good tribute to Wolfwood. But the repeated scenes bothered me. There are more scenes in the Trigun series of Wolfwood than you used. I think you used just one episode for this, right? One episode is pretty limiting, you should've used more episodes to avoid repeating any scenes, plus that would let you show more sides of Wolfwood's character than what that one episode showed. Another thing that bothered me a little was when the characters talked in the video. It was a bit distracting. I also felt that some of the scenes were drawn out a bit too long and that you missed some beats when you did that.
But I liked the fade-to-white transitions, and like I said before, good song choice. Pretty good for a new editor.

Please read the FYI on info page for Wolfwood of Change.
I got a reply?! Mark the day.
Actually, all the movie is from only 5 minutes of episode time (the song is 5:11). As I mentioned, this was because I didn't know about the "drag and delete" ability of iMovie. So, thinking I had only a little time to work with, I used it to my best ability (every frame of that 5 minutes was used, and some repeated).
Thanks, though, and I hope in 2 weeks time I can see and then reply to one of your own movies (unless I screwed up again and misunderstood how this site works).
Finally, beware of the gerbils, for they are terrifying to behold.

heh heh
i saw the naruto one (i also have not seen trigun yet... sadly)
if you keep the song in mind, it's pretty funny/amusing
so i enjoyed it, otherwise, it's a slow paced video probably mostly due to the song, it's.... different, lol
vidoe quality needs a kick in the arse, but at least it didn't have subtitles and it didn't suffer from the DivX logo in the corner
so 2 thumbs up for that huh?!!
