ErMaC's retirement

Post by SephirothJenova » Fri Jul 30, 2004 11:53 pm

I'm sure everyone has heard by now about the legend's retirement, but I want to publicly congratulate him on his videos and efforts in the AMV world. I'm am sincerely sorry for the commotion that I had made in the past with ErMaC, and now honestly agree with him in everything we had argued about. I'm sorry to see him go and wish him best of luck with everything he will come to endure in his now normal life. I do hope that he will continue to remain on the forums though.

So long Space Cowboy; I hope you have a great life ahead of you!

By the way, did anyone ever find out what ErMaC actually means?

Sephiroth

You will be missed Ermac. This community needs more outspoken hot heads

Hopefully you'll find your motivation again soon.

He is done already? He posted this 10 days ago and I haven't seen anything on the AMV mailing list or his journal. Where is your info? :?

The only one to make such a statement is Ermac himself..
ErMaC wrote:No, I've got about 2, maybe 3 more videos I want to make and then I'm done. I'm tired of not having enough drive to make AMVs anymore. AMVs just aren't high enough on my priority list anymore, I've got too many other things in my life to do (work, school, girlfriend) to devote time to AMVs anymore. More than that, it's just not that fun.

This basically represents my last major work. The other videos I do after this will be small, simple quickie videos and my DDR video. That's it.

Twas in his Org journal just a few days ago...

I commented about it in mine.

And Bayo, the only outspoken hothead we need is you. :-*

Ah, ok. Well if Ermac reads this I wish him luck in what ever he decides to do next.

I perfectly understand how he feels and it is a shame to see him go. Still, he has left us quite a few really great videos and they will remain here for a very long time. His last one Lonely Miracle is strong favorite of mine.
