I'm sad Beo....

I dunno, I think alot of people had planned to enter awa, but so many are dropping out. I think every just gets busy during the summer...

Aside from the editing, an editor must also be able to sell himself to an audience. Whether its AMV Creators or just a regular AMV crowd.
I think you have something there. Makes sense given how many creators are out there, only so many a person can check out. Mmm, think my name is fine. :D Had it as an online alias for over 5 years now, never figured out something I liked better anyway. Working on a better studio name though.

Maybe you should take some happy pills, Bayo. They do wonders to the soul.

And to answer Bayo's AWA question, yeah, my opuses are heading for AWA. Although they're for the RVG Project, I feel strongly about them. 8)

They fit the action/character profile/story driven concept. I basically made the first RVG drama video. :)

There tons of good videos out there this year. I mean you just have to look some are from uncreators that haven't made a con yet. For example

And a fairly recent org member Voices of Ryan:

And I would think myself.

Sure I've had my bad video here or there (*cough* Akane's Heart, Dirty Inu Yasha, Gene's Last Breath), But besides those the other 14 that are available are good at least that's what I've been hearing. I don't like to judge my own videos that often. I'll let you make that decision.

Well there is a list of creators hopefully this will prove that there is no slump you just have to look in random places for music you like to an anime you know something about and that is how you stumble upon good new creators. And then you follow there work while looking for more. My database of amv since I've done this has grown to 35 CD-R's and 20 GB of memory on my computer. That is alot of amv's.

I blame my slump on my computer. I was going to have a bad ass vid for pro as well as a few fun little inbetween videos. Hell, I have been sitting on Bounce (at more than 98% done) for damn close to a year, and 3 others for well over 6 months. But my editing system died and wouldn't work again till just this morning. So now I have to toss some old pieces of crap into expo and all it a day. :x

And there's the reason I've liked this year ;)

Otohiko's and Janzki's work this year have put them both on my auto-download list. I think that it's probably more due to it being harder to find good stuff than it being scarcer.
