Need funny anime

Hello I am looking for a new anime to buy, and I would like to know if there are any more anime's out there like Excel Saga and FLCL. Also plz give a short summary of the plot, maybe tell in what way it is similar to excel saga for flcl or what you like about it.

puni puni peomi is a spin off of excel saga, its an OVA with all the restrictions of TV pulled down

or if u prefer the randomness of FLCL then u can go for azumanga daioh.... pure randomness

Abenobashi: Magical Shopping District is pretty hilarious (and spoofs alot of other anime among other things like Excel Saga)

Rune Soldier is great for laughs. It's about these three "adventurers", (Mirel, Melissa, and Jiini) and the "proclaimed hero", Riui - who's a total oaf. So far, it's just a bunch of mis-adventures. Kind of pointless, but it's pretty funny ^__^

Anyway if you want to find anime try Anime News Network.

Search for an anime you like.

Click the anime's links to Check for anime made by the same company/artist/studio.

Check to see if voices actors have roles in both.

Then read the story synopsis.

Man, no one mentioned Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. It has your comedy of Sousuke and Chidori in the Full Metal Panic series only it's heighten 10x more (like Sousuke's adaption to the real world).
