Help finding an anime

Post by Battousai_Killa » Sun Jul 04, 2004 8:58 pm

I am trying to find an anime that my friend will like. He likes things with a more violent aspect. I have considered Trigun or Cowboy Bebop, but im not sure. Maybe Berserk? Anything like grand theft auto will be good. He seemed to like the Samurai X OAV Trust and Betrayal

Thanks in advance.

Usually, these kind of anime-related topics are best suited to the General Anime section (just for future reference). To answer your question though, I'd recommend Ichi the Killer (the anime version). Haven't actually seen it yet, but from what I've heard it's pretty violent.

Trigun and Cowboy Bebop arent that violent.

Id suggest Akira, Berserk, Hellsing, dont know many more, if you want more you should ask some members of globocide productions, they know what violent anime is =)

Princess Monoke although it has some drama and passion it does have arms coming off, and heads flying. Plus blood...yeah blood makes a good violent anime.

Or if he has a strong stomach, Ninja Ressurection.

0o... The original version of dragonballz...

Anyway.

Lain is pretty brutal at times,
Evangelion is depressing,
Macross Plus is ... an odd joy,
X is'nt "brutal" but it's on the same lines of Evangelion
"hey... no"

i have never seen Trigun or Cowboy Bebop so I wouldn't know. I didnt think about Ninja Scroll or Ninja Ressurection but heard they were pretty good. He hates DBZ although he does watch Dragonball GT.
