Just thinking, maybe it would be nice to have "page buttons" when searching for videos. It's kind of a pain having only the "next" button to use when searching for amvs that you've already browsed through. Or, maybe catagorize by using the user-name pages "a-c" and "y - z"...

...does that make sense?

Yes.

It takes forever to get to the end of long lists and when you're looking at something alphebatized, the Zs aren't necessarly worth leaving out. I can see how few would care to look at the last 20 pages for the 'sort by star' searches, but general searches would be nice if you could skip around by page. Take your general 'drama' category search - the results are listed by creator, and we have a lot of people whose names don't start with A. ^_^;

This would also be useful for other areas in the org, such as when you're looking for a specific page in a long thread (Weird screencaps) and you have to go through about 50 to get to one in the middle....

I think with threads you can take the url for the second page and just change the number to get to the page you want. But you can't do even *that* with searches - the url doesn't number the pages (not where you can see it, anyway).

Now if we had "go to page" buttons, those vids could be easily avioded...
