How the hell?! [missing codec problem (solved)]
Okay.. I've downloaded a bunch of music videos. Yay happy yay, right? No.. Wrong, why? Because I can't freaking see the video part. All I get is the sound. Why?! WHY!? It's driving me absolutely map. I have winamp and the windows media player, I don't know what other thingy I need to get in order to see the videos!
Can anyone help me out and suggest a video player or something?

Looks like you might need a video codec. You could try downloading Divx at http://www.divx.com and that might work (the free version should be good enough). If that doesn't work, you might need to look for some other codec packs.
Final Doom "Amazing things will happen here soon."

Also get the latest xvid from http://www.divx-digest.com. Having that and divx will clear up 99% of codec issues you'll get with the video's of this site.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

We have people here from all over the world. Sometimes you never see them cause they're sleeping or working when you're playing around and posting.MikaelJuha wrote:oh, my sister in finland says thanks also, she makes video game vidsbut heck your advice stretches pretty far i guess.

Sometimes they post at "regular" hours, but thankfully we have Willow to talk to them in their language.BrsrkEva wrote:We have people here from all over the world.
