Cosplayers can work on costumes and act.
Fanfic writers can write the story.
amv creators can edit the video.
I WONDER WHY WE ARE FIGHTING!

Or we could just get the cosplay vid makers, or us fanfic vid makers to learn each other's fandoms - then we could each make our own cosplay video, complete with story, acting, and visual - a regular production. ^_^
Jack of all trades? I just wish I knew some cosplay fic-writers I could teach vid making to. I've yet to find anyone willing to admit to doing all three.
Maybe Lost Boy... Err, Lee Thompson. Ever read about his Ranma party? People broke arms, or something. Sounds kind of fun, in a odd sort of way. He was also doing that crap before anyone had even heard of pokemon, on some random weekend, all over his 'hood. That takes guts, or some mental problems. ...I'm to lazy to find a link to it though. Maybe he will pop up and link it. A group of Cosplayers all going to a chinese restrant, acting like the ranma group would, and pretty much distroying everything in their path.

Thinks a me, this paragraph is not, indeed not, fragmented enough, it isn't. ...Pickles!

They SERIOUSLY BELIEVE that they, with their nerdass hobby mixing cartoons with pop music, are inherently better human beings than a bunch of people with their nerdass hobby of mixing cartoons with Halloween.
If that's true, I agree with you. Even if it's not, I still agree with you on principal. Err, that is that one hobby is about the same as another. ...Plus your examples were pretty funny. ^_^

<_<
...I read fanfiction. Not to long ago, LOTS of fan-fiction.
