Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you liked it.Gui wrote:Good job :)
I really liked it ^^
Interestingly, a few hours after I posted, another Tokyo
Godfathers amv was released, very different and really
very good (in particular I thought the ending was quite
poignant -- sadly I had some trouble viewing it, I kept
getting "vop not coded" errors):

If you ask me Satoshi Kon is criminally underused
by amv creators... there are only four downloadable
Millennium Actress vids available. That movie is a
freaking masterpiece and there are only four amvs!
I hope Tokyo Godfathers fares better. I for one wait
eagerly to get my hands on "Paranoia Agent" :)

Heh, it's like a bad case of ADD, but I'm not always likeBDaWiD wrote:very nice actiony and fast pace AMV.
that. In fact, I know where you're coming from. I recompiled
xine with newer libraries and watched your vid sans errors.
The song really makes that amv. The stop-motion was an
interesting effect. I thought that the song would have also
applied well to other characters (e.g. the fake mother and
the line "'cause you will hate yourself in the end") but I
guess you decided to stick with the three main ones (the
title is "Homeless" after all :)
Anyway, thanks for the comment...
Cheers!

Personally I never watch an AMV of an anime I'mBakadeshi [AuN Studios] wrote:I will, after I watch tokyo godfathers :p
I have it rented, just havn;t watched it yet. I've heard its a realy good video. I'm downloading, but not watching till I see the movie first. I'll leave coments then. (unless you can assure me there are NO spoilers....)
interesting in seeing. I mentioned, for example,
"Paranoia Agent" above, which apparently is a
"Perfect Blue"-like thriller. The greatest AMV ever
made may be based on it and come out tomorrow,
but no way I'm even looking at the comments, let alone
the vid.
That said, Tokyo Godfathers, much like Millennium Actress,
is not something which is really spoiled by hearing
about it, you really have to watch it a few times to appreciate
it in full (if you happen to like it, of course). It's a movie about
the characters for the most part.
Anyway, it's up to you whether you want to watch my AMV,
but yeah, see the movie first, that's what I'd do...
Cheers!
