Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Tarzan and Su REMASTERED is up!
Just wanted to let people know that I've finally gotten the Remastered version of Tarzan and Su online. Better lip-synching, better action-synching, better video quality, same video you know and love.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

I thought remastered vids were supposed to be unchanged except for the video qualityStevenAS23 wrote: Better lip-synching, better action-synching, better video quality, same video you know and love.

I could be wrong

6. The video is just a cleaner version / different encoding of an existing video. If you have a remastered* version of your video file, do not create a new video entry. Instead, contact Phade about having your video file replace (an automated system is being created).
* remaster - to recreate a video using the same video content but with different (usually cleaner) source material; the new video should have the exact same content, scene for scene. Example: Your video was originally created with VHS source. The DVDs for the anime used in your video have now been released. You can then create a remastered version of your video with the DVD source. The final video should look exactly like the original video, except with greater visual quality.
This information is going to go into the site faq. I'm going to make some of this stuff a little clearer.the delete video page wrote:Please note that a new version of a video with better editing is not a remaster, it is a remake and should have its own entry if it is significantly different to the original.
Most of the time people want to create a new entry if it's got new editing simply because they dont want the old reviews to count against it.
If there's not much of a difference, though, I dont mind.
