Series with the best movies?

I also think that the Tenchi movies were very good. But while the first and third were really great, the second one just felt too rushed for me. It could have been at least thiry minutes longer too.

I'd agree, the Eva movie is probably my favorite anime movie. I'd say the same thing even if I didn't care for the footage, because I loved the intermission music...

I'm a sucker for good instramental music.

well the only series movies i've ever really seen are cowboy bebop and samurai x...i really liked the samurai x movies...i just saw the cowboy bebop movie a few days ago and it was pretty good.

and i also liked vampire hunter d it was dark and mysterious and well overall pretty damn good.

I would have to say that Cowboy Bebop is the best I have seen.

Vampre D did not have an accompanying television series. It had a OVA episode and a novel so It would technically not fit the definition of the post.

PS, inuyashaguru- please clairify what you mean by Samurai X (ADV did some stupid translation of Rurouni Kenshin and called it Samurai X. Since they gave the title to the Rurouni Kenshin movie AND the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs, I cannot tell what you mean by "the samurai x movies.")
