AIM Chat Room Pwn3d: IRC adopted!

unless you can see the future, i don't see how you can "know" every single fuckup... the irc chatroom seems ok now. i see no problems. I don't like seeing ops abuse their power, but i don't see it happening.

I was surprised that NME was an op, but i really don't see a problem still.

as for you other people who have this problem with the AIM chatroom link not being there. Damnit, shut up. That chatroom was in no way linked to the org. By the time most of the older creators left, every single second i'm in there everyone is talking about sex or bashing some newb that comes in. let alone tubgirling anyone and eveyone. The flames that start there were so rare either. not to mention several members loging into all their accounts and flodding the chat so no one can get in. it was crazy and just plan fucked up. I don't even know why you guys are so worked up about this. Oh, thats right, no more newbs to flame and bash. maybe you should think about helping someone for once. You guys were newbs too. its not fun helping someone all the time, but i've been in that chat longer then some of you, and i still manage to hold back my frustrations and help someone at least find the guides. Seeing some newb come in and ask how to download videos and seeing you guys reply and only flame him make me sick. Frankly i don't care about the aim chatroom anymore, good riddins.

The AIM chat link has been added as an unofficial chat room for people to use at their leisure. The org has no responsiblity over it or the actions of anyone that uses it. The member main page link will be changed from "IRC Chat" to "Chat Rooms"

I'm not 100% certain that the link I've made will work for everyone, so if people can please test the link and report back I would be very grateful.

Yeah ummm from reading that I would rather not have Tab or NME mods in the IRC chatroom...the way they treated Savior was unreasonable and unfair.

You guys need to quit complaining about every single thing.
AD is trying the best he can, if any one of you who were complaining were left with even a SENSE of responsibility as large as AD's for this site, you'd probably fuck it up like no other.

Phade, in your opinions, is worse than AD. Phade would probably go "Well too bad, enjoy your damn AIM chat all to yourselves" and not give you a link.

Whereas Ad has tried to be fair with you, tried to make everyone happy, and all you do is insult him along the way.

YES, AD has screwed up a few times, maybe a lot of times. But atleast he doesn't have the "rapid change of mind" like Phade, right?(i.e. sex box in profile).

AD is fucking trying his best, and I don't see why he even BOTHERS, because you all keep flaming him like no other.

So he made a few mistakes in assigning Ops. BIG FUCKING DEAL.
It can be fixed. Passwords can be changed, and people can be unbanned.

It's not like he did something serious, like get banned MULTIPLE TIMES yet KEEP COMING BACK.

However, AD knows who you are, and he doesn't ban you again. Why? Because he's a god damned good person.

Leave him the fuck alone. Jesus.

AD, I got to say if I had to do what you do on this site at my currant salery I would got insane, much less if I were to do it for free.

I seriously admire you.

And thank you SQ for saying what I was thinking. People really need to consider what they have before bitching about what they don't sometimes.

Haha, I like how one or two people get upset, and SQ automatically thinks that everyone is blaming AbsoluteDestiny. Obviously, it's only been one or two people. I haven't insulted anyone, I've been working for what I want and talking like I have some common sense, don't categorize me into being something I'm not. Secondly SQ, you make it sound like everyone hates AD. Whee_It's_Me is the only person who's made a huge attack like that so far, everyone else is just angry.

Just to make my feelings known. I really like AD. He seems much more even handed than anyone else so far. His ability to take a beating for things he really should not have to deal with and still keep a clear head is awesome. He's willing to take on this HUGE responabilty, and smart enough to hand out some of it to others who can keep this place growing. We have had a huge lack of code fixes lately. I mean, the site looks really messed up on macs right now, as my thread in the site help forum points out. (I'm hopping this can get fixed)

So while I'm glad we got the aim room back, I wish it could have been done with less insults as well. -_- I hope that eventually people will realize that they can complain with out being outraged and AD will be willing to lesson to them. I think in the past, no mater how civil, or how outraged, every one felt powerless and oppressed, as things were pretty much ruled like a dictator. My personal experiences with phade often turned out ok, but from what I have seen over the years, things were not really open to discussion on the forums.

...Plus, your a suck up.

Two links up, what I've been wanting the whole time. Now, everyone needs to shut their fucking mouths about the AIM chat, IRC is still having problems concerning OP's, I'm sure, but anyone that was fighting for the AIM link needs to back off just like I am now. I got what I wanted, and all of you should've too, so thank you AD, I really appriciate it.
