Do you use any methods to hide SUBTITLES in anime?

hey there
i was wondering if any of you made music videos out of anime that had subtitles.
is there any way to hide the subtitles to make the amv look better?

i have one method i use in adobe premiere pro where i change the 'motion' settings (its pretty much a effect where u can change the size and location of the clip in teh whole entire screen) by increasing the anime video bigger, until the subtitles are out of the screeen therefore only showing animation without the translations
however depening on subtitle size and many other video concepts, sometimes it works out fine and yet other times it pixelates the video, losing vidoe quality

any know any other techniques for 'hiding' subs?

well vegas video has a handy feture of like "zooming" in on the clip that basicly removes the subs and most of the time is dont matter if u zoom
